Something of a sadistic arsonist, he is not above relishing a good fight, and he often blows up his opponents in a very brutal fashion. Deidara's most distinctive trait, however, is his love of art. He will respect any form of it, even if it disagrees with his own. Deidara also has a habit of ending his sentences with nasal "un" sound, roughly translated as "yeah".
Deidara refers to his explosive ninjutsu as art, believing each bomb he makes to be a significant accomplishment. He refers to his style as superflat (refering to certain types of manga), and claims pop (another manga style) is dead. One of Deidara's catchphrases, "Art is a bang!" (or variations therein), was originally coined by famous Japanese abstract artist Tarō Okamoto (several of Deidara's explosives have resembled Okomoto's works too). Deidara is very proud of his art, to the point that he is simply unwilling to accept that anything could defeat it, leading to frequent overconfidence in battle.

→Akatsuki member Deidara is an artist at heart, and he uses his modeling clay to fashion animals which help him in combat. This clay is fashioned into destructive art using the Earth Element. For that reason, the art models are weak to Lightning based attacks. The art models can take the form of birds for flight and exploding seeker birds and spiders. Deidara possesses two mouths on the palm of each hand. Withdrawing a bit of clay from his pouch, one of the mouths can consume the clay, imbue it with his explosive chakra and fashion it into a creature. Deidara can then make the item bigger after forming the necessary handseals. He will retain control over the item and can decide what actions the clay art will take.
The creature shown here is a spider type homing explosive. He has various other bird types as well which can serve the same function. That of searching out an enemy and getting near enough to it for him to release the explosive seal and cause detonation. Each piece of art will be infused with one of four explosive chakra types: C1, C2, C3 or C4. C1 is used in most of Deidara's smaller art pieces including spiders, centipedes and birds. C2 is used in his favorite attack, the C2 Dragon combo jutsu. C3 was seen in his most powerful large scale attack, his Speciality #18 Jutsu. And finally, C4 is seen in his most deadly attack, the microscopic bomb C4 Karura.

This bird allows him to run recon over his target area. It is highly mobile and can allow him to drop other art on his targets below.

→After withdrawing a bit of clay from his pouch, Deidara will use his palm mouths to consume the clay and fashion it into a dragon which is infused with his C2 chakra.Deidara will act in conjunction with Tobi to create a combination attack meant to stop an agile opponent. The large dragon will first drawn in some of its tail to create numerous spheres which it will expel from its mouth. The dragon can then take to the air and while Tobi places the spheres underground, beneath the feet of their opponent. From his position in the air, Deidara can launch smaller, more explosive C2 dragons towards his target. This combination of land mines and aerial attacks will box his opponent in, making any wrong move their last.

→After ingesting his clay into his real mouth, Deidara will expel the C4 chakra infused explosive clay from his gullet to create his most deadly Kibaku Nendo attack. This particular attack was developed to kill Uchiha Itachi.The expelled clay with combine to form a gigantic version of a cloaked Deidara. After forming the needed hand seals, the giant Deidara will explode into a fine cloud of microscopic clay bombs. These tiny objects will be controlled by Deidara's chakra as they move towards their target. The target will then unknowingly breathe in the cloud. These tiny objects will then travel throughout the body and detonate, causing microscopic explosions. This in turn causes the body to disintegrate on a cellular level. Note that the cloud of microscopic bombs contains chakra, so if the target possesses some means to see chakra, such as the Sharingan, then they can move to avoid the attack

→This unnamed attack is utilized by Akatsuki member Deidara. After removing the bindings sealing the mouth on his chest, Deidara will feed the maw a large clump of clay. After being ingested, dark veins will begin to emerge on his body as he infuses the clay with his explosive chakra. When the veins nearly cover his whole body, they will begin to retreat back into a sphere located near the chest mouth. When the veins totally retreat back into the clay, Deidara will ignite it causing a huge explosion which will cover a ten kilometer area.

→Shouten no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by the leader of Akatsuki. This technique will allow a person to sacrifice their body so it can take on the almost real form of another. This technique is like Edo Tensei, but it allows for a live ninja to inhabit the body of another. Also unlike Henge which is just an appearance transformation for a ninja, this technique will allow the sacrifice to play the host for a virtual copy of another ninja.The other ninja will totally control the sacrifice and donate a portion of their own chakra to the sacrifice to provide it chakra. While the ninja acts in the sacrifice body, it can perform most all techniques it normally does apparently except for bloodline techniques, though even this may be a limitation of the chakra. This is because the techniques are limited to however much chakra the ninja has donated. Once the chakra runs out and the sacrifical body dies, the shape change will end and the lifeless body of the sacrifice will be revealed.

By forming the needed handseal, an astral form of their being will appear at the desired location. This spirit can act in conjunction with other members to do combination jutsu like the Genryuu Kyuu Fuujin. While in the spirit form, the members voice will sound deep and distorted.

→Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse.

→This unnamed Ninjutsu technique is used by Akatsuki member Deidara. High in skill, Deidara can create the one unique bunshin without the use of his hands. The clay bunshin can ingest some of Deidara's explosive clay and focus its chakra to that internal spot in its body. The chakra will activate the clay causing the bunshin to blow up in a violent explosion. The bunshin and explosion can also act as a decoy, allowing Deidara to escape from enemy detection.

→Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.

→Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.
History/Background Story:
+Deidara was originally from Iwagakure, although he readily abandoned the village for the opportunity of using his "art" more frequently. Deidara became an assassin bomber for hire, not caring who he worked with so long as he could use his artwork. Sometime after Orochimaru left the organization Akatsuki, Deidara was located by Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, and Sasori, who were under the orders of the leader Pein to recruit him. Although, at first, Deidara refused, he quickly got into a small confrontation with Itachi, where Itachi forced Deidara to join by almost fooling Deidara into killing himself with his own clay explosives via genjutsu. Deidara, having been forced into Akatsuki and taking a huge blow to his ego, carried a loathing for Itachi throughout all of his time in Akatsuki, though he was intelligent enough to recognize Itachi as a more powerful opponent.

Info: Deidara is from Hidden Rock and he utilizes mouths on his palms to create exploding art. He left his village behind to work as a terrorist for anti-nationalists. He was then invited into Akatsuki. He and his partner Sasori were responsible for capturing the One-Tail Jinchuuriki Gaara. Though he lost both arms in battle, both were reattached. After Sasori was killed, Tobi became his partner. Deidara later squared off against Uchiha Sasuke. Unfortunately Sasuke's Sharingan and his Lightning Element attacks got the better of Deidara's Earth
based Exploding Clay.
